For the end of the winter season on Pohorje, free skiing this weekend.

This year’s successful winter season on the Pohorje ski slopes operated by Marprom, part of the JHMB Group, will continue until Sunday, April 2, when we will organize the last skiing day (a total of 124) of the season. On this occasion, skiing on Areh will be free for all visitors this Saturday and Sunday (April 1-2).

The ski slopes will be open for the weekend from 8 AM to 3 PM, with the Areh, Ruška, and Žigart ski lifts, as well as the Pisker chairlift, in operation. On Saturday and Sunday, skiing on Areh will be possible without ski passes since the turnstiles on the mentioned lifts will be open. Season pass holders will still be able to use the circular cable car (until April 2), while regular gondola ticket prices apply to others. A single ski bus will operate from Bellevue to Areh over the weekend. After Sunday, the ski slopes on Pohorje will no longer be open, and regular maintenance work on the circular cable car will begin on Monday.

Just before the end of the skiing season, on March 31, as previously announced, the presale of new season tickets will start. The prices for all remain the same as the expiring season, and the purchase will be most favorable during the initial period until April 9. More information about the start of the presale is available at this link. From Friday to Sunday (March 31 – April 2), the Pohorje Mountain in Maribor will also open its mountain bike park from 9 AM to 6 PM – detailed information can be found on this link.
