Today, a winter wonderland awaited us on Pohorje; Areh received a bit more snow, but it also covered parts of Mariborsko Pohorje. In the morning, we measured snowfall on Areh ranging from 10 cm at the lower stations of Pisker and Ruše to 30 cm at the top of Žigart.
We now have strong confidence in the long-awaited weather forecast, promising real winter cold in the coming days and the beginning of intensive production of artificial snow. This will almost certainly make Ruška available soon, as well as Poštela, followed by Čopka and the Snow Stadium.
Starting today, the connecting trails between the parking lot and the Mali X 1 and Žigart Connection ski slopes are open on Areh. As a result, ski buses no longer travel on the forest road towards Cojzarica or Pisker.
