The Radvanje chairlift on Maribor’s Pohorje successfully underwent a professional-technical inspection on April 17, 2023, providing the basis for the extension of its operating permit. The existing permit is set to expire on May 15 this year, and a new one will be issued for another two years.
As a result, the mentioned chairlift at Maribor’s Snow Stadium will continue to operate normally in the upcoming winter seasons. Prior to that, in this year’s summer season, it will be available to visitors for the adrenaline toboggan run PohorJet, which is currently in preparation for its imminent opening.
The successful completion of the professional-technical inspection demonstrates that the Radvanje chairlift, despite its age (manufactured in 1972), is still safe for operation, mainly due to the good and regular maintenance efforts of Marprom, part of the JHMB Group.
