The circular cable car Pohorska vzpenjača will continue circulating without interruption after the regular runs beyond 9:00 PM on December 31, 2023, until 1:00 AM on January 1, 2024. Additionally, there will be an extra run at 2:00 AM. During this time, uphill transportation will only be available until midnight, and for those returning from the city to Pohorje, there will be rides at 1:00 and 2:00 AM.
During the extended operation, entry into the gondola with any equipment for snow sports (skis, sleds …) will not be allowed. Marprom company will not organize a New Year’s Eve celebration on Pohorje, but it will provide skiing to visitors during the regular opening hours of the ski slopes.
Due to the extended operating hours, the ticket offices at the lower and upper stations of the Pohorje cable car will also remain open until 1:00 AM on January 1. Tickets for the 2:00 AM ride can be purchased from the operator.
Considering the extended operation of the circular cable car, Marprom will also provide additional night or early morning rides on bus line 6 Vzpenjača on December 31 and January 1; departures from Vzpenjača: 11:00 PM, 11:30 PM, 12:30 AM, 1:10 AM, 1:30 AM, 2:20 AM, 2:40 AM; departures from Maribor AP: 11:00 PM, 11:30 PM, 12:30 AM, 1:00 AM, 1:30 AM, 2:00 AM.
