The spring series of special inspections and maintenance works on the Pohorje Cable Car (gondola lift) will begin in March. The lift operator, Marprom from the JHMB Group, will carry out these activities on the following dates: 23–26 March, 30 March–1 April, 7–9 April, 20–22 April, 4–6 May, 11–13 May, and 18 May 2026.
On these days, passenger transport with the Pohorje Cable Car will not be possible; however, on all other days in March, April, and May, the gondola will operate normally according to the timetable. For the needs of the Bike Park Pohorje Maribor, it will run continuously on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 10:00 to 17:00 in March and from 10:00 to 18:00 in April and May.
This series of special inspections and maintenance works will be followed by the autumn cycle, scheduled for the end of September, October, and early November.
The reason for this year’s more extensive interventions on the gondola lift is the investment in new wheel batteries; these will be installed on all towers this spring and autumn, and partly next spring. As a result, future shutdowns of the lift will be shorter.
