Thanks to favorable temperatures, we have managed to additionally produce snow on Mariborsko Pohorje and prepare the ski slopes all the way down to the valley. Therefore, starting today, 17 February 2026, the Radvanje and Poštela chairlifts are operating again.
You can ski down to the valley via the following slopes: Turistična, Miranova A1 and A2, Čopova and Snežni stadion. Accurate information about operations is available here.
While ensuring the best possible skiing conditions, we are also preparing attractive additional activities. Thus, on Friday, 20 February 2026, a night sledding event will take place on Areh, on the Ruška slope, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Under the glow of headlamps and torches along the track, creating a magical winter atmosphere, visitors will be able to sled down the ski slope from the upper to the lower station of the Ruška four-seater chairlift and then return to the starting point using the lift.
Participants of the 2‑hour event are required to have a headlamp (rentals are available) and wooden sleds or pležuhe (also available for rent with prior reservation). For a safe and pleasant experience, we recommend warm winter clothing and appropriate footwear. Children may participate in night sledding only when accompanied by parents or an adult, and helmets are mandatory for children up to 15 years of age and recommended for all others.
After the sledding runs, you will be able to warm up at the partners of this activity on Ruška – Koča Pohorc and Okrepčevalnica pri Lisičjem repu. You are invited to try another new addition to this year’s Maribor Pohorje offer with Areh.
