Due to unfavorable weather conditions, especially very strong winds, the ski resort will remain closed on Friday, 27 March 2026. For the same reason, the Pohorska Vzpenjača cable car will not operate on Friday.
The ski resort will reopen on Saturday, 28 March 2026, and will operate until 31 March 2026 inclusive. On Saturday and Sunday (28–29 March), the Ruška four‑seater chairlift and the Pisker six‑seater chairlift will operate at Areh. On Monday and Tuesday (30–31 March), only Ruška will be in operation.
After that, depending on whether the newly fallen snow remains, we plan to open the ski resort again for the Easter holidays from 4 to 6 April 2026. At that time, both chairlifts at Areh are expected to be running.
During the upcoming weekend and the extended Easter weekend, a ski bus will operate between the two sectors; the timetable is available at this link.
Both this season’s ski passes and next season’s ski passes will be valid during this period. Next season’s passes can be purchased at the ticket office at the lower station of the Pohorje cable car from 28 March to 6 April 2026.
