On Mariborsko Pohorje, a regular annual rescue drill will take place on the circular cable car (CCC) on Saturday, November 22, 2025. The purpose is to check the readiness and coordination of the services responsible for passenger safety.
The drill will be carried out in cooperation with teams from Marprom, the Mountain Rescue Service, and the Maribor Fire Brigade, between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. During this time, the CCC will not be in operation.
- 8:00 a.m. – Start of the drill in the area between the 1th and 4th towers.
- 12:00 p.m. – End of the drill and restart of the CCC.
Such drills are essential to ensure the safe use of cableway facilities on Pohorje.
