Maribor’s Pohorje, once known mainly as a winter sports destination, has in recent years transformed into a modern mountain center for year-round adventures.
Thanks to European funding, renovated cable car infrastructure, and the development of the Bolfenk and Areh outdoor centers, it has gained a brand-new look. Today, visitors to Maribor’s Pohorje and Areh can enjoy:

This coming weekend, October 11 and 12 2025, visitors can still enjoy the PohorJet summer toboggan run and the Radvanje chairlift. After that, the chairlift will be closed until the winter season.
