As part of the World Para Alpine Skiing Championships, competitors successfully completed their official training today, February 6, 2025, on the well-maintained and firm slopes of Mariborsko Pohorje. The well-prepared course provided athletes with high-quality conditions for their final preparations ahead of the upcoming races.
After a rest day tomorrow, the championship will continue with the women’s giant slalom on Saturday, February 8, followed by the men’s giant slalom on Sunday, February 9. Both races will start at 10:00 AM.
Maribor proudly hosts this prestigious competition, which has brought athletes from 33 countries to the city. The presence of 135 competitors and their support teams not only enriches the sporting atmosphere but also highlights Maribor’s significance as a key center for winter sports.
