On Maribor Pohorje and Areh, intensive preparations for the new winter season are underway. On November 13, the company Marprom also began the first snowmaking on ski slopes ahead of the upcoming season. With temperatures below freezing, snow cannons have started operating in the area of the Ruška chairlift.
The time is quickly approaching when the winter wonderland on Maribor Pohorje with Areh will come alive again, offering a variety of activities, from skiing and snowboarding to night skiing, sledding, and other snow experiences.
One of the major new features for the coming winter will be the revamped Bellevue children’s playground, complete with a new conveyor belt lift and sledding area. Snowmaking is also planned here, so the option for sledding will no longer depend solely on natural snow.
The start of the winter season is planned as soon as weather and snow conditions allow for the preparation and opening of the ski resort. We believe the season will be full of unforgettable moments!
