The Pohorje cable car will operate continuously on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2024, after regular rides end at 9:00 PM, continuing until 1:00 AM on January 1, 2025. An additional ride will then take place at 2:00 AM.
During this extended operation, upward transport will only be possible until midnight, while downward transport from the city back to Pohorje will also be available at 1:00 AM and 2:00 AM.
The ticket offices at the lower and upper cable car stations will remain open until 1:00 AM on January 1. Tickets for the 2:00 AM ride can be purchased directly from the operator.
During the extended operation, entry into the gondola with any snow-sliding equipment (skis, sleds, etc.) will not be allowed.
On New Year’s Eve, Marprom will also provide additional night and early-morning rides on bus line 6 Vzpenjača. Additional departures from Vzpenjača will be at 11:15 PM, 12:30 AM, 1:10 AM, 1:30 AM, 2:20 AM, and 2:40 AM. Departures from Maribor bus station will be at 10:45 PM, 11:15 PM, 12:30 AM, 1:00 AM, 1:30 AM, and 2:00 AM.
