Several changes for users will come into effect on 1 July 2026 at the fenced parking lots at the foot of Maribor Pohorje, operated by Marprom, a company of the JHMB Group.
From that date, at the Vzpenjača 2 parking lot (below Hotel Habakuk), parking for motorhomes will no longer be free of charge for holders of any operator-issued ticket. Instead, all motorhome visitors will be charged according to the hourly rate specified in the standard price list.
Parking for passenger vehicles at the Vzpenjača 1, Vzpenjača 2 and Snežni stadion parking lots will remain free of charge for holders of daily cycling and skiing tickets, as well as season and annual passes for the circular cable car, bike park and skiing. However, these benefits will no longer apply to holders of the monthly circular cable car pass.
At the Snežni stadion parking lot, the first two hours of parking will continue to be free of charge for all users. The Vzpenjača 1 and Vzpenjača 2 parking lots will continue to offer a free short-term stop of up to 20 minutes.
Another new feature is that the monthly parking rental rates at the parking lots below Pohorje will be aligned with the rates applicable at fenced parking facilities in the city centre. The rates will therefore be: EUR 68.02 for rentals of 1–6 months, EUR 61.22 for rentals of 6–12 months and EUR 57.82 for rentals of more than 12 months.
