With the start of the pre-sale of seasonal ski passes for the 2026/2027 winter season at the Mariborsko Pohorje ski resort with Areh, we are introducing a change in the ski pass issuing system.
Until March 27, 2026, visitors can still return hard tickets (chip cards) and receive a refund of the deposit. They may also keep their cards and reuse them later for a new pass, without any additional payment for the card.
From the start of the pre-sale onwards, the system will change:
- most tickets will be issued on soft cards,
- all monthly, seasonal, and annual passes will be issued on hard cards.
Hard tickets (chip cards) will be available at all ticket machines and the pick-up machine, with a purchase price of €2. The card becomes the property of the user and can be reused multiple times for reloading new passes.
With this change, we aim to simplify the purchasing process and reduce waiting times at ticket offices, which in previous seasons were mainly caused by deposit refunds and cash handling.
